'96 850 turbo wagon door bumpers falling off

OK, so when I opened the driver door awhile back it would not open all the way...like someone was pushing it back closed. I realized that the door bumper had shifted forward and pushed against the front fender when the door opened. I took it off, put it back on....over and over and over again until I finally removed it thinking that I need to replace the little clips that hold that door bumper on. Now, where do I find those clips? Will the new clips solve the problem?

When mine did that on my 1995, I found out that the aluminum strip on the back side of the bumper had bent. As you know, the rear most clip is held on by a torx screw, and this clip is no longer grabbing the rail. The other clips should not be easily moved, front to back.
You could try to bend the rail so that the aluminum is straight and put the bumper strip back on. Be careful with the torx screw. I have an extra one in the bottom of the door panel

I then put a dab of grease on the end of the torx driver to keep the screw from falling off.
If you need a new clip, the dealer is the only place I know of to get a new one.
