It is the latch on the driver's side that is most problematic. But rig cables to each of them, that's how I do it.

Yes, we just have to pull the passenger side from the bottom of the car (splash guard is off). As for the driver's side, we have the turn signal loose so it can be opened when needed, then there is gardening wire running from the latch to the opening. We need to reconnect the passenger side somehow so he can get a new cable into the cabin, and fix the turn signal!
