2000 V70XC Fuel Filter Orientation

Post by northern_dweller »

I swapped out the fuel filter this morning and stupidly did not observed and remember the orientation of the filter. Can anyone tell me if the fuel filter inlet should be towards the outside of the car or towards in inside? The way that I have it on right now, the inlet is to the outside, towards the rear passenger wheel. The attached photo is viewed from the rear of the car, with the right side of the photo towards the passenger wheel.

Thanks.

That arrow on the filter is telling you the flow direction, which is correct as installed.

Thank you. I peeked under a neighbor's XC and made sure it was the same. Funny how gasoline dribbling all over you will make you forget what happened.
