96 855R lifter noise?

I did the entire oil pan drop hassle to cure lifter noise and while one o-ring was partially out of round and both were squashed flat, replacement did not cure the lifter noise so buyer beware if you're dropping the oil pan and changing o-rings to cure lifter noise. That was about 10-15 hours of my life (and my brothers) that we won't get back.

I wouldn't trust a receipt. Take less time to pull the cover and look at it. I had a viewer that had annual cabin air filter receipts for several years. Had issues with odors and decided to pull the cover and look, found a nest full of dead mice. No filter or filter holder to be found. Sad but true.
