The tire pressure info is not on the driver's door jam.
I've looked around for it and can't find it.
Can someone tell me where to locate it?
What would my target tire pressure be for my 96 GLT?
Thanks!

You can also check the tire manufacturers website. Some of them will list their recommendations on tire pressure by car type. I have found that different tires will ride better at different pressure. The 35 lb is good rule of thumb but the current set of Pirrelli 400s that are on my daughters car ride better at 38 lbs. The tire is rated to 40 or 45 lbs so I am still under the maximum pressure.

I also run 35PSI, but depending on your road condition, type of tires and tolerance for bumpy rides, you can go more or less....more if you like a tight ride and don't mind the bumps....less if you want a softer ride and don't mind some loss of handling. 32~40 or so seems to be fine as far as wear on most tires.

You guys do NOT know how to read these.turbotim2 wrote:I just looked at mine and it says 36 front, 41 rear. I run mine at 35 though.
When driving alone or with one others you use THE OPTIONAL pressure which is about 32 or so.
The "standard pressure" is for a fully loaded up vehicle, READ the labels
