What are the typical issues with a manual V70R with 190k miles that I should look out for?
Thank you. Any guidance is much appreciated.

Probably gonna need a clutch at some point especially if driven in NYC traffic. My 1998 clutch went 225K all highway... and appeared to be the original one.

4C struts. The car would be on its second set now, or should be. Other items you can find on my Volvo R page.
All consumables/wear items would be on the second+ set, or quickly approaching that. So, to look for special items is smart, but you're also looking for... everything.

At 190K miles, the main issue I see would be to pay more than $1000 for it no matter how clean it looks inside/outside. Even so, I'd have at least $2000 on the side for urgent repairs and this would be a car for weekend fun. I'd rather pay $2000 for a regular V70 with same miles.

No doubt there are fine well repaired high miles R Volvo, but my thought is most had a hard life and by 200K miles replacing parts may get too costly to keep it He still may be lucky

Allow me to put it into perspective.
We paid $8700 for a 2006 V70R and have proceeded to drop another 4k into it... in three months.
