The advantage of the Switch Doctor brand I bought was that it is contactless so removes this major issue with the OE part!

- There is a thread on dis-assembly of the switch on clean the RR contact points in forum.

- Re NEW master switch: Volvo OEM is $140.

- However, many here have had success using "Switch Doctor" brand, which costs only $22.50:

Should I take the rear one out since that's the bad one and test it with an ohms meter or something before I order the switch? Someone said that if you're doing anything with Window switches that the master switch is always involved. That doesn't mean I would have to order both right?

I'd suggest swapping in a fresh master first.
If you still have troubles, you know where to look.
