Fuel Injector Relay

Hello Everyone,

I've been having issues with starting and stalling. I believe I've isolated my issues to my fuel injector relay.
Long story short, I've replaced my fuel injector relay and noticed that one of the wires connecting to the relay was loose. The wire was loose and came out hence giving me the issue of stalling and other starting issues.
Two questions,
1. Is there a silicone or rubber type connector that fits inside the relay connector that would replace the current decaying ones. When I pulled the rest out to check the condition the connectors have disintegrated.
2. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the fuel relay injector?

The connector is not available anywhere.

I use 4 of this *on the left* and added some wires to make my own connector.

Other option would be to go to a boneyard and cut out what you need and connect it in.

You are not the first to have that problem. The connector is poorly located and highly exposed. I don't think I have ever had the relay actually go bad but the connector is one of the most problematic on the car.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say thanks for the help.
I ended up chopping out the fuel injector relay and splicing it into my car.
It now runs normally, although at first it was loud as it wanted to be, maybe due to sitting for a few weeks.
Back to driving it for a while, once again thanks for the help!

Could you post a picture of the relay location and damaged wires. I have not heard of this issue. Thanks!!

This one does not have damaged wires, but it gives you the location.

The gray FI relay usually lives up under the shelf above the radiator, it has been pulled out in this pic. Note the 4 loose wires leading to its connector.

Just wondering could you post the way you did this? And what gauge wires did you use or did you trim the old ones and install these?
