Turbo vaccum pipes

Post by Prouds70 »

Hi there. I'm looking to change my vacuum hose to silicone. Just wondering the diameter of them before ordering. Many thanks.

I'm not sure; I bought a kit and cut the lengths I needed.
2012 C70 T5 Platinum, ember black on cranberry leather
2006 S60 2.5T AWD, ice white on oak textile
5 others that came and went

From my experience, most of the vacuum lines for the Turbo include the three color coded ones for the TCV, which are 5mm ID. The vacuum lines for the intake ports by the throttle body also seem to be 5 or 6mm ID. I think the one for the PCV comes as a 4mm hard plastic line but I upgraded mine to a silicone 5mm ID without problems.
