DIY: Info on 2005 XC90 Wipers: OEM vs Bosch vs Rain-X

Post by cn90 »

My car is 2005 Volvo XC90 2.5T, I made the mistake of not looking at stock wipers in the car and ordered using Volvo dealer online PN system. Got the wrong wipers.

Anyway, check what you have in the car first.

The good news is: if you have what is shown below, then:

1- Amazon sells a pair of Bosch, but it is a combo of 24" and 21", not 24" and 22" as stock. Not a big deal b/c most people cannot tell the difference of 1 inch.

2- Rmeuropean dot com has the Valeo-SWF wipers, which are original OEM...or

3- Go to Walmart, they carry Rain-X, made in Mexico, also a perfect fit.
So the photo of Rain-X PNs, about $10 each.
