Completed my manual transmission swap on my '95 Volvo 850 T-5R. It was a solid 3 day job with 2 people. Would have been easier if I would have dropped the sub frame on the ground or pull the engine and transmission out of the top together. We had the car on jack stands and lowered the sub frame.
Since the swap, my city gas mileage has gone up about 20%. I had the car tuned to the '98 T5M tune so I lost a little boost but I it is not looking for the auto trans. I installed some rebuilt blue injectors but need to install whites. I now have a set of whites that are going to be tested and cleaned, rebuilt if necessary.
When we got done, the reverse lights did not work, blew the fuse. Got it working, the cut wire ends were not clean so that may have caused it to short out.
The cruise does not work, not sure why. Will try get that fixed soon.
My highway mileage is the same at in the auto because the final drive of the 5 speed is the same as the 4 speed auto.

Nothing yet. I've just been living with the CEL for now. How has your tune worked out so far? Does the engine hold revs a little longer or did you just have it tuned to not look for a TCU?

Don't bother, blue injectors flows exactly the same as white injectors. Search for their part numbers

Only the fuel pressure regulators used with white/blue injectors are different.
You need to modify the relay.

I know this question is not directed to me, but the 627 Euro Spec 850 R calibration works with manual transmission without the RPM hold and no CEL. I also modified my 627 calibration so it works with the white/blue injectors and with the correct fuel and MPG gauge. Downside is the 627 Euro Spec 850 R calibration have NO obd II capabilities, so I would not use it with 96/97 cars.

Really? I thought the blue injectors were 395cc while the whites are only 350cc? https://www.fcpeuro.com/blog/posts/red- ... ctor-guidetryingbe wrote: ↑04 May 2017, 21:57 Don't bother, blue injectors flows exactly the same as white injectors. Search for their part numbers

High fuel pressure means injectors will flow more, HOWEVER, fuel pump will flow less.White & Blue
White and Blue injectors flow exactly the same.
