Hi all, I'm needing to replace the strut mounts and spring seats on my c70 t5, can the xc90 mounts be used?

Probably all you can buy at Volvo parts suppliers.

Oddly enough the parts supplier I was using only did aftermarket mounts and seats, I had a problem with them before over a cam position sensor, they tried to assure me that the one they had would fit even though I could clearly see it wasn't the correct part.

Anyhow I have found a good deal on oem xc90 top mounts and lower spring seats, I've read on here that the xc spring seats are better but that was for a v70, also doesn't mention if the xc top mounts can be used or if they're any better.

Are you saying that both will fit then yes? Thanks for the quick reply, didn't want to get down in the job only to find the parts won't fit

The XC90 spring seats should fit fine. I put them on a 2000 XC V70 a few months ago.
