Neil you're in the wrong menu for diagnostics. You entered the Network tab that's why you're getting software part numbers. You need to be in the Fault trace tab then use Delivery tab

Thanks Mike. I had realised that error that I was possibly using the wrong table. So with the swap over of the modules I used the Fault trace and that was when I got the CDM-0001 VSS signal missing message. With the other module I did try both and with the ABS showing red/orange it still gave no error messages. I only got messages when I swapped the 2 units over.

Yes I tried removing all the codes. Figured out how to do that playing with the system in Fault Trace mode. Only one that was tricky was the CDM-0001. This required an engine cycle to remove. It did not in fact remove but went from a red to green status on the stop light.

Drove the car about 100m and both STC and ABS lights came back on. So assuming the issue is another bad ABS module. Came up with ABS codes: 0070, 0092, 0093, 0095. 0070 is the pump motor, other 3 are control module communication errors. Strangely no CDM-0001 code when these were on this time.

Tried a simple trick a friend did wit his of wedging a golf tee between the connector body and the ABS pump as in his case this 'fixed' the warning lights he was getting. Made no difference. Have to say the main power lead to the pump does not feel particularly tight when fitting it back on. Maybe it is a bad connection. Does this happen?

Guess I will have to wait for the re-built unit to see if it cures the issues or if it just confirms something else is screwed with this car.
