Hello,
I have a Volvo S80 2007, unfortunately I changed the battery and the radio stopped working. It switch one, display " Dolby sound… » and then immediately switch off. It did not ask for any code. I have heard about a module but did not understand exactly what is the purpose. The only volvo dealer in my country closed. So, my only solution now is to take it to another country which will cost me around 2000$ for a radio. Anyone willing to help me?? Thank you very much in advance.

Elliot, if lapri94 doesn't need that radio I might. I just bought a 2005 S80 and the radio is getting unreliable. Cutting out, popping. Let me know if it doesn't get a new home.

Never did. It's an HU850 unit with the third Preset/CD knob on it. It still cuts out randomly or suddenly screams out at full volume. I'm still in the market for a replacement.
