Hello everyone,
my car has a issue with the retractor or something (according to the mechanics at a shop where I dropped my car off recently), so I cannot pull the seat belt all the way out and now it is stuck, i.e. it cannot roll back to its original position. I am a college student and the mechanics says he has to replace the whole thing, which will cost around 500 dollars and I cannot afford it. Would it be possible if I can take the seatbelt part from the passenger's side and put it on the driver side? Thank you everyone for reading my post. I appreciate it it.
Best,
Hugh N

Tasca has two different part numbers for left vs. right, so I guess you won't be able to short-change your passenger.
They list it new for $213. Be sure to check your chassis number as there is a superseded part number.
You may also give Erie Vo-Vo a try for genuine used parts
