Hello again,

I found three out of four end clips now. Here is a pic.
The straight part goes though the end of the gas spring and that seems to help hold it onto the ball.
The penny is a US penny, for size comparison.

I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

Hello again,

The two gas springs are both installed now, and i must say there is a world of difference on how well the door stays up now. Before it was not holding up in the cold weather, and in hot weather it barely held up. Now it takes significant force to pull it back down even.

I dont have the end clips in yet, and am debating whether to use them or not because i put the trim back on already before asking about that here :-)
I only have three of them anyway and there is supposed to be four, so maybe i'll just put one on each side on.

Thanks, and take care,
Al
