A few days ago my car gets hot i check the coolant level but it was perfect a friend tool me it could be the water pump but i dont have any idea...



What i can do to find the reason or fix the problem????

Does it overheat idling, around town, on the freeway, or all of these? When it gets warmed up feel the temperature difference between the upper and lower radiator hoses, if they are not both hot the thermostat is bad. Water pump is unlikely if it's not leaking.

If you're saying the needle on the dash goes up past the halfway mark, then it's almost always a bad thermostat.
