I have the exact same and will do that in the Spring.

PN for driver's side is 9187646.
This will fit 1993-97 850 and 1998-2000 S/V70 series.

Someone told me that once you open the door panel to do the window guide job above, you may as well refresh the rollers (qty = 2 per door; $4/each):

"How did you removed all the panels to get to the window mechanism?"
DITTO. What year & model are you working on?
I have a 1994 850 Wagon & the window tilts when going up.
Removed the innner panel via:
viewtopic.php?p=40467#40467
But now I see a big metal plate with all the mechanicals (motor, levers etc) attached, so I need to know what happens if I try to remove that plate to get to the glass.

The OP did not mention that in order to take that first photo, he had to remove a plastic snap-fit piece in the upper rear area of the "inner" door. Have to start at the top left & wiggle rightwards & up -- the lower right has a clip on the front surface that you don't want to break.

This is also the access point to fix the "roller" when it breaks or slides off of track fixed to the bottom of the window.

SLIDING BLOCK P/N 3512837-0 (actually its a disk).
cotter pin is CLIP P/N 6817147

My Sliding Block broke the edges of the holes where the Clip goes thru. So the clip won't stay on if it flexes. I guess the new part number fixes that issue.

DIAGRAM & INSTRUCTIONS
download/file.php?id=41344
If the side window has come out of
line or fallen down the rear slide
may have cracked or broken.
Replace the rear slide in the front
doors and rear doors with the
improved version, P/N 3512837-0
according to instructions in this
Service Bulletin.

They designed this poorly. Its impossible to (esp in that tiny access panel):
1) push the "pin" on the scissors arm forcefully away from you, into the new Sliding Block. Someone needs to hold the door for you.
2) push the Clip into place -- its a heavy clip, needs to be compressed with pliers (don't drop it down the door !!! - tie a string to it !!!). Don't let it slide along the pliers as you push, but also don't compress it too much...
3) while at the same time preventing the Sliding Block from moving against being pushed on.
You cannot start the Clip partially in the Block.

They SHOULD have made the pin on the scissors arm a bolt-on component. Then you could put the Clip & Block & pin together, slide it onto the slide, and then line a hole on the scissors arm with the pin & tighten it down. In fact, the pin could have been press-fit onto the BLock as a roller, with a clip on the near side of the scissors arm. Or a bolt with toothed washer.

How do I fit the window guide (track) ? I see that it is held only by a single bolt near the bottom.
Do I need to insert the top end into some other portion of track above it? If so, how?

FYI easier to use the rivet to fasten the Guide, instead of messing with the old bolt fragment : Blind Rivet PN 975586
Be sure to order this rivet, its a different size from some other rivets.

Same issue over here with the nut missing on the replacement track, however i got mine form a junk yard, not the dealer, and it came with a cut out rivet in the hole. I’m gonna get a nut for it, and drill the old rivet out. Thanks so much for this post.

I ended up using the OEM broken bracket piece with the nut to secure it back in after i removed the rivet. Worked perfectly!!

Ever since I did this, the vinyl covered hardboard trim piece, the big trapezoid piece behind the door lever, has been loose because the plastic clips broke when removing it. I tried velcro, but its not holding up.

Where can I get those clips? Or a right size substitute?

Just came across your post as I was dealing wondering why my window had fallen off track and what that piece it metal on the inside of the door was doing there, lol. After seeing this post, I was able to put the pieces together of the puzzle. I fabricated a tab that had broken off mine and managed to get it all back together. Thank you !!
