This car isn't made to run E85 but I've put on a piggyback device that raises the amount of fuel per injection cycle so that I could have the proper AFR.
And I don't know what ECU is in the car.
I've left it to my mechanic who'll tell me tomorrow if he finds the cause of my issues.
I'll keep you updated, thanks for your help !

Maybe that device is the source of your problems.

Update!
If I run with the MAF unplugged my problems disappear + my fuel consumption drops drastically!
does this make the MAF the definitive culprit?

Usually...bad Maf have totally different symptoms.
Is Maf that is currently on the car Bosch or something aftermarket?

If it is not Bosch...it can cause unusual behaviour....pretending that it's working...but not properly...since aftermarket Maf doesn't have the same values as Bosch(OE) one.

It might be the MAF or it could be an induction leak after the MAF. When you unplug the MAF, the ECU guesses the air flow by rpm, and it gets pretty close. It will run a bit rich, but it will run well.

It's a Bosch MAF, the ECU is a moronic 4.4 :)
It feels as if unplugging the MAF causes a performance loss.
The car doesn't stutter but it also doesn't pull as hard...
