Overboost triggered

Hi , Hoping someone can help. I have a P2566 fault code on my Volvo 1.6 edrive . Which is turbo position intermittent . Status at the moment , Actuator replaced , turbo out and tested veins cleaned , Boost control valve changed , boost position sensor changed. Vaccum pump checked and working . Vaccum pressure good checked all to solenoid. couldnt find any leaks on the air hoses. Any other ideas . I am flat out .

I think you need a different OBD scanner. I cannot find P2566 used on anything other then a D4204Tx. If your going to your own diagnostics and repair an Volvo VIDA/DiCE is a good investment. You might want to check you configuration with the Volvo Vin Decoder.

On the D4204Tx, P2566 = ECM-2566 = Position sensor turbocharger (TC).
1. Signal missing, Loose connections, contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals or wiring
2. Damaged position sensor.

do you mean Boost sensor on intake manifold ?
