4wd Volvo

So i happen to have a 4wd Ford Ranger with a worn out engine and what i would like to do is either T5 or T6 swap it. However i would like to keep the 4wd system in tact so what I'm curious about is if there is a transmission that would work on a T6 or a T5 that could also take a transfer case?

Did you consider an SHO motor from a Taurus?

I have but I decided i really want a volvo engine. What I'm trying to figure out is if there's a transmission that would work with a T6/T5 but also still have some sort of a transfer case for 4wd. (not really worried about much else since this just a theory I'm working on)
