2007 XC() Fuel injector O ring size 30777501

Anyone out there know what O ring size is used for fuel injector? I believe fuel injector is part # 30777501 and o-ring set is part # 30713614.

I need to remove the fuel rail on my 2007 XC90 3.2 FWD to access screw that holds the pressure sensor. My understanding is when removing the fuel injector, O ring might be damage so needs to be replaced before re attaching. That O ring kit seems to be special order everywhere I look.

I found a set of O rings in various sizes in plumbing section of hardware store. Would these be ok to use or are the O rings on fuel injector something special?

Hardware store o-rings for plumbing are not petroleum/gasoline compatible so won't do.

I did remove more than one fuel rail and never got a seal damaged. Always put them back in and no leaks - but I clean every surface realyl well and very important - with both new or old ones - smear the injector with some Vaseline, otherwise it will chip (same with any FPS sensor). So good chance you won't have to replace them.

Follow up question... Removed fuel rail, cleaned everything, replaced sensor, greased o rings with synthetic grease, and re installed. Car started up great. Check engine light is gone

... but, fuel injector # 4 is emitting a light but steady stream of white smoke. Only #4 (inline 6 cylinder).

I read that white smoke is water vapor, it's black and gray smoke which is concern. This smoke is white and there isn't a lot but it's been coming out for at least 30 minutes. Smells fine.

Does this sound like something to be worried about? Any thoughts on what it might be?

... I took the plunge and drove it around. Smoke seems to be gone so hopefully whetever it was has burned off. If someone knows the likely source though, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Still on my mind.

White "smoke" is steam and there is only two sources of water. Condensation in the exhaust system, which should blow off as the exhaust system heats up and the coolant system. How is your coolant level? Any signs of gases in the coolant system?

Green
I.D. 9.5 mm (.374")
O.D. 15 mm (.591")
Thickness 2.9 mm (.114")

Brown
I.D. 7.5 mm (.295")
O.D. 14.5 mm (.571")
Thickness 3.5 mm (.138")


I haven't found an aftermarket source

But as shown in the picture the O-rings can be bought from Land Rover Part number LR003579

If someone knows the correct Volvo part number please post it here for reference

No gas in the coolant tank. Not sure if you mean something else by "coolant system". It wasn't low when starting the repair but was low after repair. Hoping that's normal. I topped the coolant and haven't seen the steam anymore. Will check again tonight/tomorrow to be sure.
