Hotbox as in a nuclear containment vessel for working with radiated materials?
Wisdom requires knowledge as a prerequisite, but knowledge can be developed due to a lack of wisdom.
In order to learn how to fix something, you must first learn how to break it.

Nah, a hotbox is where you grow fresh local tomatoes!

4. What else have you done??
I believe what fixes will work depends partly on how badly the factory attachment points are. They don't all necessarily fail at the same time. What I did on my '98 V70 was to add what I will call "support straps" made from copper pipe support straps bought at Home Depot for pennies. After three years, they have eliminated the dash noises for me and are still working. You only need to remove the top dash pad which is not a big deal (a bunch of screws and lift off.)

My son usually refers me to the Urban Dictionary when I have a question like this.
