I had a mechanical tensioner moment and undid the nut on the hydraulic tensioner in Earl
I think I just need to remove the whole thing to counterhold and tighten the tensioner axial nut again

Abscate or anyone else, does anyone have a VIN sequence showing whether your car has the hydraulic or mechanical tensioner without having to do any disassembly to check?

This is a hydraulic tensioner.
I undid the wrong bolt , the one in the actual rotating part , and can’t tighten it now
I tried to remove the T45 holding the assembly on and couldn’t move it.
Sigh.
