O2 sensor

Post by loveMy850 »

I know I'm not suppose to Yell H elp, but oh my God my O2 sensor wires on the adaptor end towards the engine came out and these are all green wires except for 1 black wire. It looks like I can stick them back up in the adapter but I don't know where the wires go correctly. My O2 sensor is in connected and fine, what do I do????? The sensor wires are BLK white grey and maybe another white. Please......!

Two of the green wires should have stripes One stripe is gray and the other is black.
The two White wires on the sensor side are the heater. Polarity does not matter.

ECM to O2 Sensor.
Green-Gray to Gray. (Sensor (-) in ECM).
Green-Black to Black. (Sensor (+) in ECM).

Green to White. ( Heater (+) in ECM, shared with fuel injectors and others).
Black to White. ( Heather (-) in ECM ).

If it didn’t plug and play into the Volvo harness, it’s probably a junk OXS which won’t work well.

You can confirm Ricks wiring in the wiring diagram ( findable on the web, not hosted here by agreement with Volvo) as Rick is wrong approximately 0.00000850% of the time
