You have factory A/C?
Is it the flash, or has that radiator outlet been recently soldered on?

On that BaT wagon, it seems like I've seen really pretty ones for about that or less. Mechanically that one was nice - it's got some wobbly panels and a couple of rust spots to repair. But I guess that's what happens when the right combination of people show up who want something.
It's my understanding all A/C in the States was dealer installed, through the 200 Brick cars ? This is the same rig I had in both of my 1800s, with the exception of the old York style compressor swapped out. The car came to me with R12 air, and it still works great.
Both flash and fix.

It's basically a 4.6 cobra or terminator engine.its homebuilt from a Lincoln mark 8 4.6 32 valve... 280 hp stock but then I fabbed an intake for the cobra blower and a Shelby intercooler under it.so at 12 psi it's aboot 425 hp...then it has meth at 3/4 throttle.oh and a 125 shot of nitrous at WOT SO MAYBE 620 or so at the crank.and yes it's a giggle

March 2009, Sante Fe, NM. Slide film, probably Velvia. I'm scanning my rats nest of slides and negatives for my Covid boredom project. One of them anyway.

Being an old Ford guy, I'm kind of surprised at the sound. And not in a good way. I have an old 289 that I saved from my '65 Mustang that sounds way sweeter than that thing.

Hey, a 289 fan! Growing up we had Bronco 289s, a 302 Bronco, and my older brother had a '65 Mustang 289. Always liked that motor.

This one is idling really high, that blower is making a lot of noise, and the single exhaust isn't helping the sound any.

I did some hunting around trying to find some progress on Jay Leno's 122 wagon restoration. The video I saw was 5 years old or so, car sitting outside with surface rust. The implied project was a Polestar V8 swap and restoration. Maybe they never got to it.
