Ok The latest.
Removed the the intake manifold, ETM to get to the Firebox/PVC system everything is tight No blockage no Oil leaks maybe a 1/2 oz of oil in the box if that much.. ETM is still nice and Clean Both sides.... Duct work to ETM is in good Shape The soft intercooler Hose Lower left side is also good and secure and the other side on the Intercooler connection.
Gasket for the intake manifold looks good no sign that was leaking , I have another and replace and the one for the ETM....
What a PITA.

Heloo Guys hope everyone is enjoying the Warmer Weather. ?..
Still lost here.... Tore in the everything looking for any kinda of Vacuum leak .....PVC is Good. Intake and throttle body gaskets replaced.
Checked and tested every Vacuum Replaced all that turned my hands black.
Replaced MAF and TCV.... TCV clicks on and off a few times and thats it, no matter what RPMs the car is at or if its in park or drive.
All the Turbo piping was removed and checked.
Last thing I did was a Vacuum Check from the smaller port on the intake I Teed into it and im getting -20psi it fluctuates as I accelerate up to 3k rpms.
It goes higher - 25/30psi if I tap the pedal hard it will drop to 0 for a second. I dont Know what else to do completely lost here...
Compression test. 180s cold engine
Coils and Plugs look good and Clean.
Replaced Vacuum lines Tested Vacuum lines.
Replaced Intake manifold and throttle body gaskets.
Checkd and Cleaned Fire Box All fittings and box and hoses clamps are new a year old.
Replaced 2 vacuum check valves.
Here are pictures of where I tested vacuum from today....
Thanks guys..
I had to step away from this for a while neck pain and muscle spasms were getting too much... Dont know how people can function on Oxycodone and Flexeril... I zone out ... feel useless. Blah.....lol

I know it's been a few years and I'm sure this issue has been resolved by now.... or maybe not. I need some closure here. What was the issue, how was it resolved? I'm kind of having a similar issue on my 04 SR and I I need to know! My Swedish s**t box has failed emissions three times and I think it may be vacuum related. Please and thank you.

Hi there..
I think after checking everything and finding a bad ,dry rotted vacuum line to the turbo and replacing them all which wasnt much as far as the amount/ length of lines or cost, and the check valve it ran better but I wasn't happy with it..
Some time later once the weather changed things got worse. After 30,45 min drive I was loosing power and idling rough.
After Pulling all the hard duct pipe off I found one of the corrugated pipe, (corrugated pipe) doesn't sound right to me.lol The Hard Flexible pipe had a spilt that I could only see when I flexed it.. easy fix for me was to degrease the area and fill it with black silicone gasket maker. It's been that way ever since and that cured the problem. Hopefully it's something as simple as that for you vacuum leak, check valve or maybe your pipe has a split in it. I don't know what else to tell you. You read all I went through. . Holly Ship!
Hopefully someone else can chime in with better advice.
Good Luck.
Jay

smoke test it, if theres a vac leak it will show up.
Smoke test DIY vids on youtube, its just a jar with sand, some ciggies or cigar and clear tubing from the hardware store.

Smoke test works too..
Didn't work for me tho 1st leak was a small vacuum line that sealed when vacuum pressure was applied and took a bit of pressure to open up the problem.
As for the hard pipe that didn't leak until the pipe was very warm.
I also made a smoker with a cheap HF 30 Watt, soldering iron glass jar with the metal lid from Wally World ,Heavy rag and mineral oil takes a little bit but once it warms up it will smoke. Just go easy with the air pressure.

I made one of those smokers with the soldering iron a few years ago and never used it and forgot all about it. Mineral oil you say? Not sure I have any. Olive oil has a low smoking point. Do you think that will work? What about baby oil? Maybe not. I have no idea how they extract oil from a baby and I hope I never find out. Anyhow, I'll figure it out and give that a try. Glad to hear you got yours figured out.
