FCP Euro's definitions not legislated definitions. Go to a different distributor and the definitions are different. legislated definitions would make everybody's definitions the same. That way when you see one of the terms you would know what it means. No need to dig through the fine or obscure print to fine out what that one means.

I agree.

I applaud FCP for making their definitions crystal clear and for providing us the info but across the industry the terms are used way too variably

9141042, 30680750, that was the question I posted to get comments, and have not yet ordered. Thanks for the comment regarding the ? smaller bushing on FCP's mount. What I really wonder, and don't think there is an answer (yet) is has Lemforder, along with others, now become like Hutchinson, TRW now may be, another generic boxed brand. It's not out of the question that Volvo blue box parts have become that as well, except that their pricing hasn't dropped. Tasca offers 30680750 for 65 bucks which might be my compromise, interesting to see it's quality. I have noticed the quality of some blue box items is clearly "cheaper" than they used to be, especially for older model Volvos. I mean, is there really a factory in the EU cranking out parts for P80's? What's left is probably NOS or coming from Asia. Over time, I guess we can expect to see the quality of these parts all be pretty much the same (Maybe not URO bad). I mean, how many different factories are making these parts? Thanks for the comments.
