Hi All,

I figured now would be a good time to follow up almost a year later to my post. A couple of weeks ago the CEL started acting up again and I decided now I needed to change the PNP switch (I pulled the codes via Dice/VIDA and it was the same). Being I had the 4 speed transmission for my 2000 Volvo V40 wagon, I ordered OEM part # 30865937. It wasn't too difficult to install but still a pain. I was able to purchase the alignment tool online directly from Volvo. It's been about 6 weeks and I have no more CEL's and the car just passed a NY state (yearly) inspection. I also noticed that issue I had with a random no start went away. As of now this is not an issue anymore. Hopefully this post will help someone in the future.

Thanks for the follow up! We were a bit worried after not hearing from you so we moved an MVS office to Port Jefferson just for you.
