I am having trouble finding a clone DiCE. The only one I could find was on aliexpress, and takes over a month to deliver. Would a code reader that says it can read volvo specific codes like this work? Or does VIDA+DICE have some other functionality that I will need?
Does my engine sound normal.

In theory, any J2534-compatible reader with two CAN buses implemented in hardware will work. I have a clone of xHorse that I use with Toyota Tundra (I lie: it does not break whatsoever, no need to read anything), VIDA "sees" the scanner, however it has only one CAN bus, so VIDA can't reach a better half of the car. If you find such a dual-bus scanner, it will work with VIDA.
