Thanks a lot Clemens, for these explanations and these informations (especially for the cruise control tip) . I will contact them to have a precised idea of the price to pay. I'm don't feel "strong" enough to proceed to change bearing. I wouldn't like to be in front of the disassembled gearbox, unable to put it in one part.

Merci abscate. Do you think a newbie could do this job ? Is it a question of method and organization ? What particular tools do I need, an extractor of what type for example, and an hydraulic press ? It would be a good exercise for me to repair this. As I'm going to take out the whole engine and gearbox anyway.

That kit is just bearings and seals. The bearings were like 140 Euro shipped from 123roleur in France. The seals should be less than 160
