Urgent help with vacum Lines

Post by xcreator »

Hey everyone
I have a 1997 volvo S70 2.0 Turbo GLT 226hp European
I bought it thinking it was all good but noticed the turbo was a bit sluggish and late 3500rpm kicking in and a big suction sound when hitting throttle.
So i was going to check the waste gate adjustment and noticed the massive problem in hand.
For starters, the waste gate pipe was connected to a PCV line and many other vacuum lines just cut off with a screw blocking it, very shocking.
So with help of this forum i found some diagrams and good help but I have 3 more pipes i can not figure out where it goes.
I have the Turbo control valve now connected right.

Below i will put photos of what i have so far and also the 3 mystery lines i need to know.
Thanks every one in advance, any help is welcome and appreciated.

On The first three photos is my Turbo control valve how i have it connected according to the diagrams.

The 4th and 5th photo is the 2 mystery pipes labeled D and E i don't know where it should go, they are broken plastic pipes i am guessing comes from PCV not sure if its both or just one of them, any which way i don't know where they should go.

And last photo is the other mystery pipe labeled G, i don't know where it goes, it's under the intake manifold.
Also on last photo i have pipe H witch is going to the PTC on the intake pipe near the Turbo entrance on compressor side, this i connected according to diagram.

So if someone could help me decipher where D, E and G go

Thank you so much for your time

E should connect to an elbow coming off the PTC nipple I believe. Can't quite tell where the other lines are relative to the engine. I think the long vacuum line that runs under the manifold connect to a port somewhere on the timing side of the engine and the other end connects to the turbo?

Thank you for your response
Next to E is line D its a ticker plastic line in the same rubber sleeve as E, is this the one you say must go to turbo?
But i have all the turbo lines conected as on photos.
Line G is bewteen a gap of the 2 metal pipes of the intake manifold at the moment it was conected to the vacuum tree.

D and E are mounted on the right side of the engine on the turbo side of it. and G is on the left side if you facing front of the car

I'd guess D and E are the two lines going to the PTC since they're wrapped in this foam stuff

If I remember correctly, the small one of the two goes to the front of the intake (under the vacuum tree)
