Turbo whirring after head gasket - 2001 S40 1.9t

Water pump locked and threw the timing belt. Bent valves & head off to the machine shop. Put all back together again, retimed from scratch and replaced vacuum lines as needed. PCV job done last summer. Runs great, but whirring likely from the turbo only under load. Has boost and no leaks. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
