ABS/TRACS OFF panel lights on. '98 s70 GLT
ABS/TRACS Off lights are lit up. Chilton's manuel indicates perhaps a wheel sensor problem. How to determine which wheel sensor LH/RH front or rear wheel is problematic? Or is it someother problem? Thanks for any advice with this braking problem. Car was in use when lights came on.

I agree with the ABS module. Also, check out the thread for fixing this yourself in the repair database.

I agree that it's the module, but I'm not sold on DIY for the repair. Reading some posts on the subject, some of the pins are stated to require a lot of heat in order for the solder to reflow properly. I work in aerospace, and am NASA certified in soldering. Without knowing the scematic or what's under the board, I'd be reluctant to touch it with a soldering iron. As a matter of fact, Mine is out for repair as we speak with Module Master. It's $150 but has a d 5 year warrently and is fully tested, something the DIY can't do. Food for thought. P.S. don't forget to pick up your little #5 external torx lock socket to remove the module!
