I have a clone DICE unit that was working fine for a couple of years. Then I had to use it recently and the USB LED is not staying solid yellow. It would flash about 5 times after connecting the USB cable and then the LED goes blank. The green LED is constantly flashing green and the Interface status LED would also constantly flash orange.
The weird thing is my laptop recognizes the DICE unit as a USB device called Setek AB. I am running Linux Mint 21.3 on the laptop and a VM running W7 and VIDA 2014D. With the car running, VIDA doesn't seem to see the DICE unit - when I click on 'Read Vehicle' - it says ignition must be on or some issues with the CEM.
Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot? I already removed the side cover to unplug/replug the USB cable and it didn't work. Wondering if I need an updated Linux USB driver - I noticed the problem started when I upgraded my Linux mint OS.
Thanks!
