Good morning all. I currently have an S40 (2003) and I'm looking at a 1996 850 wagon, 5 speed w/78,000mi. and a 2001 V70 auto w/106,000 mi. My questions are what to look for. Are there major problem areas with either. The '96 is a 1 owner and very clean but I don't know anything about them. I thank you in advance for any replies.

The 2001 is the worst year for that car- avoid it.
