'92 Volvo 850 Seatbelt Chime/Light does not work

I have the white/blue relay installed. But neither the lights nor the chime sound. What could it be?

One problem always is, did your market ever have the chime option? It could be your car was never designed to have this fitted perhaps?
Is the part/relay you fitted new or used? If used it could be faulty or someone modified it to disable it?

The other thing could be you are still missing something from that system. Most people want to get rid of the bong noise!

I would guess if any market had it, it would be Europe. Don't know if it had it stock but I have the relay and lamp on top of the headliner with the seatbelt icons on it.
