Volvo 850 T5 350hp BIG PROBLEM

Post by Tindebinde »

Help needed quickly!
Car: 1996 850 T5
Ok, so I made a manual swap this spring. And everything works pretty much how they should. But... I have a big problem with the car currently. So if I had to describe it shortly: It goes into a coma from a second to a minute.
Car runs okay ish and then suddenly everything stops. Power is on, but gas pedal does nothing, it kinda stops running but I still hear the turbo sucking air when I press the gas, but nothing happens. The engine temp sensor goes to zero and rev counter goes to exactly 500rpm even though the car is moving. It might do that also when moving but it cuts just for a second or less, the Lambda quickly lights up and then immediatly disappears and doesnt come on. Just 20min ago, I was parked with my ignition on, suddenly the fuel pump stars going on and off... on and off, then my cooling fan relay starts flickering and the temp sensor meter goes to zero and rev counter goes to 200-500rpm (car not running). What the hell is wrong with the car??? I have changed about every part you can imagine, All the sensors (cam, crank, MAF, fan relay, fuel pump, throttle position sensor, Lambda etc) I also have AEM series X afr gauge and after the car has woken up from the coma it starts running at 9-11 afr) Then it goes normal after a while.
And maybe the most important clue is " 325 Memory Loss" What is the reason?!
Im losing my mind so I would really like some help. I've been struggling the whole driving season.

Have you replaced the ignition key electrical portion ever?

This sounds to me like the the of random problem that this causes.
