I have a 2000 (P80) V70 with the AW55-50SN 5-speed transmission that I've just replaced the PNP switch on recently. The problem I've run into is that I accidentally broke the rod end bushing that connects the shift cable to the pivot arm that shifts the transmission. This part is not available individually and can only be acquired new with an entire shift cable assembly, if you can even still get that new. So I have to get one from a junkyard. Here's where I need some help.
The research I've done indicates that some P2 cars have the same rod end bushing but it's not clear if there are specific trims that have it. My local junkyard has a 2001 (P2) V70XC which might have that part. The problem is this yard does not allow people to go in the yard and requires me to buy the part before it's pulled, so I cannot check to see if this car has the right part before I spend the money for it.
Is there anybody here with a 2001 V70XC or a similar model (about 2003 or older) that would be gracious enough to confirm if theirs matches mine pictured below?
