I'm currently in the process of sourcing manual swap parts for my 98 glt with the 2.4t, but cant seem to find any stock manual files for the ecu. So if anyone can answer a couple questions it would be greatly appreciated.
1. Does anyone have or know of the file I'm looking for?
2. Did manual 2.4t p80 cars even exist?
3. If not, can i modify the automatic .bin to support a manual transmission?
If you have the answers to these or know anyone that can help me please let me know, thanks.

I'm going to suggest that you just start here--> Motrinic M4.4 Wiki
That will answer your beginning questions. Form there, you can decide if that's something that you want to tackle yourself. The info is all there to get started with a DIY route on flashing/tuning.
If it's not something you think you can do, hit up VAST tuning and they can get you squared away with a base tune.
There weren't any LPT manuals, AFAIK. Also, the two base files for flashing are HPT bins, so they're going to need some tweaking to be happy on the LPT motor.
However, other than throwing codes for not seeing the auto trans, and not having the rev "hang" for shifts, the auto ECU will run the car when swapped to manual.

Thanks for the info. I looked into the tuning software and its definitely a bit over my head, seems like VAST is my best bet here.
Assuming i can find a pedal set any time soon, that is.
