AXLE STUCK IN TRANY

1995/850 TURBO LEFT HAND DRIVE AXLE WILL NOT COME OUT OF TRANY. ANY GOOD IDEAS TO RELEASE?

tjg, Welcome to MVS.
The best way are the use of 2 pry bars (like big slotted screw driver's) on either side of the drive shaft, and pry the axle out. Once the circlip clears, it should pop right out.

HAVE USED 2 SPOON TYPE PRY BARS AT TOP AND BOTTOM AND ROTATED THE SHAFT AND STILL HAVE NOT RELEASED CLIP. ANY OTHER IDEAS?

I've read where others have used a cold chisel, tapped in from the bottom. I just used a big screwdriver for mine.

THANKS LEE THE COLD CHISLE WORK GREAT. NOW I CAN NOT GET OUTER CV OFF SHAFT. THERE IS NOT CIRCLIP (AXLES HAVE BEEN REPLACED).PUT IN VISE AND HIT WITH 3LB HAMMER, STILL ON. HAVE ANY GOOD IDEA?

I guess I don't understand the question. What are you trying to do? If you are trying to replace the boots here is how the stock axle setup works:
