Yes, there are 4 tabs as part of low dashboard. If they cracked or worse, broken off from the base, you can tighten all you want but dashboard still lose.MJJ wrote:So the question for you people who have had the dash out and have looked at it is: Are these 4 bolts really what anchors the dash itself? After clued back by "plastic welding", I used fiberglass cloth wrapped around tab in and out. Once the whole thing dried up it felt very strong, my 15 years old dashboard now fits very well and has less noise than my wife's 3 years old dash.
