CEL On - P107 code

Post by aj98s70 »

The Check Engine Light came on in my 98 S70 GLT. An OBDII scan revealed a P107 error code.

Anybody have any experience with this and thoughts on how this maybe fixed ?

Thanks in advance.

P0107
Volvo specific code list: Athmospheric Pressure sensor.

Generic code list: Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometeric Pressure Circuit Low Input.

Maybe MAP sensor?

I know this is an old post, but I'm wondering where this sensor is. I'll keep looking but if you know could you let me know. Thanks.

It is on the right hands side inner fender behind the headlight! I believe it is called a noise sensor. I had the same problem on my 1998 S70 GLT. It is mounted on a metal bracket. I removed mine and cleaned it with Carb cleaner then gently dried it with compressed air. Hanot had the code sense.
