2000 S70 ABS Light Issue

Thanks everyone for the follow up posts and pictures.

I haven't had much time to dig into the car again but I did connect my multimeter to the sensor directly and found no voltage being produced while the car was moving. I'm going to look at the tone ring and probably get an OEM sensor when I have the chance. I will follow up one here when I have more findings to report. I appreciate the help.

Oem speed sensors rarely go bad but the wire going to them can from mileage and age. Aftermarket speed sensors seem 50/50 if they work or not, I'd go with a used oem sensor over a new aftermarket sensor.

I found a photo of the ABS plug from perhaps the first documented ABS Module repair on MVS. I've added an arrow to where you can wedge a washer, piece of plastic or wood shim for construction to test the ABS. It's a test for the voltage in pin area going into the board and not other areas, which may have cold joints also.

Per Matty Moo of Midwest-Abs.com and my experience with the wheel sensor, I highly recommend just trying the wedge test before anything else.
