Rubber elbow. Fuel or vacuum?

Sorry to drudge up this thread but can you remember when you replaced the elbow, if you replaced it with regular silicone hose or an actual elbow? I replaced mine with regular silicone and the bend is sharp and looks a bit kinked. I also had a stumble every 5 mins or so. I have a new TPS, clean IAC and a clean MAF. No codes either.

Will be ordering the part from Volvo to replace. Elbow = 3531116 "coupling piece" and clamps are 1389647.
