1998 S70 replaced pcv oil trap and is worse than before

But then what does the vacuum line that runs from the end of the intake manifold down to the PTC activate?

What a great write-up. I see now.
I'll have to check my own. Just did a PCV service a few months ago on my '95. I know I cleaned out the larger part, but don't remember "poking" anything through the 2mm nipple to make sure that was clean.
Now have today's project!

Hehe! Yeah, it's awesome. I was about to do the same thing, then I had to replace the air intake tube, and there was a shiny new one already installed in it. :D But a lot of people overlook that side passage. Been there, done that... :oops:
