Thanks fellas, here is the thing on the front panel that has a rubber hose from it . I assumed it went to the inlet manifold

That flag was a subtle hint..

Usually the purge valve is up there on the front but that doesn't like the one we get over here.

Well whatever it is on the front panel it goes to the inlet manifold , found an image before i started ripping into it .

And both of the black hard pipes from the charcoal canister go to the back of the throttle body , must be different to your versions over there ....
