My '02 looked the same. We called it Slate Grey. Can't recall if the TU paint bore the name or just the number.

If Volvo offered an 'Umber' the paint code would be an umber number!

I think I took an Umber to the airport.

It can have a bluish/ gray appearance for sure, depending on the lighting conditions.

I've been in a low intensity argument with my wife regarding whether it's blue or green since I got it - and it definitely looks gray under some lighting - particularly parking lot lights.

An argument seldom won.

If you're going by the touch up paint in the bottle, these new touch ups go on in a completely different color but DRY PROPERLY. I suggest you try it on a low spot or on a piece of cardboard, the dry difference is VERY different than what it looks like going on.
