You would need to know the rear spring inside and outside diameter and do some home work but I would say doubtful that this way with a spring cup would work but when theres a will there is a way and there is more info on lifting XC70s ..So start measuring

So I tried adding these photos a few days back made me some cardboard templates and butchered up these XC 90 struts they add some camber ..So no camber plates have to figure it out .My thought is a diy camber plate 3 bolts thru the strut tower thru a threaded plate in the wheel well and then push out the three bolts in factory strut plate and slot strut plate and tighten bolts in the wheel well ? Or the lower control arms find a longer bolt and some shims / washers and place between control arms and frame will push the lower control arm out ??

Yikes. Not enough structural metal left there. I would run a strength calculation on that thickness to confirm it’s suitable for load.

That was the first thing that came to my mind looking at it. Not much material between the hole and the edge of the bracket.

Yikes that is down right dangerous!

There is a guy that has lifted his XC70 if I recall correctly. I think he posted at one point on either XCforum or IPD website.

I think IPD used to sell a camber adjuster for P80's.

Neil.

I think Kaplhenke sells camber plates. Don't think I've ever seen them on iPd. At least not in the past couple years. https://www.bneshop.com/collections/p80 ... trut-mount

Yeah that is just a sacrificial strut I just butchered up to see if the unit would fit in the location down and dirty style .So if I went this route the extra hole would not be there and a extra plate would be welded on

Kaplhenke is one of those “hidden” sites for Volvo performance parts. It takes some looking around to find him!
