MVS Volvo Forums member 4gifted asks a fairly common question: how to lift a Volvo XC70 or V70?

“Hi, I want to lift my V70 2002 d5. I am thinking about putting front springs from xc70 or even whole strut assembly. Has anyone done that?”

Several members including oragex and rudsaki reply, with methods to lift an XC70 using off-the-shelf Volvo parts. I’d do that, or get a lift kit from Bad Swede, which sells a 2 inch suspension lift for P2 Volvos. From their page:

These spring sets fit 2001 to mid-2007 Volvo AWD V70/S60/XC70 P2 Platforms. The P3 platform was introduced in mid-2007 and we don’t yet support it, so be sure to determine your model before ordering.
